How do the cleanups work?Updated 6 months ago

Our cleanups are all about rolling up our sleeves and getting dirty in the oceans, rivers and waterways that need it most—from Fraser Island to the Philippines and beyond.

Together with our team of plastic-fighting heroes, locals and community groups, we tirelessly collect and sort rubbish until it's all gone. It’s often humid, stinky and exhausting work, but the transformation and sense of achievement are totally worth it.
Our large-scale cleanups have removed over 40 million bottles' worth of waste from oceans, rivers and beaches worldwide. The latest (and biggest ever) cleanup in the Philippines pulled an incredible amount of rubbish from the the Guadalupe River in Cebu. Keep an eye on our socials for that update.
