Great question! Don't worry, there is no need to worry about this!

Sometimes the outside of our paper based refills darken and turn grey, it is caused by tiny leaks inside the refill caused during shipping.

There is no damage to the formula and this will be 100% safe to use for the 2 year shelf life of the product!

We're working on a solution to help protect the refills and we'll be launching this fix in the next few weeks. We don't expect you to have this problem with your next refill.
